The Last Rescue

Some illustrations from my MA project, a non-fiction story surrounding a tragedy and the work of lifeboat men on a small island community. The story tracks the journey of the last ever rescue that the lifeboat men carried out and the crews extreme bravery.

The Little Match Girl

An adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's original tale. A young poverty striken girl braves the snowy streets at night to sell matches and earn some money for her family.
